Sanyo launches New Product: Sanyo Projector WXU700 with 802.11n Wi-Fi

Sanyo's portable widescreen WXGA PLC-WXU700 projector is the 1st in the worldwide to provide 802.11n wireless-fidelity(Wi-Fi), supporting WXGA wireless video streaming. Sanyo has formally declared its PLC-WXU700 portable LCD projector, which is the 1st in the worldwide to admit 802.11n Wi-Fi wireless networking to hold total resolution (1,280 by 800 px) WXGA video streaming.

The WXU700 works Windows Embedded CE below the hood, and could be applied as a network projector from any computing device running the Windows Vista Network Projector function; the PC (Personal Computer) will automatically detect the project thru the network and establish a connection in one quick step.

The WXU700 also boasts wired 100Base-T wired Ethernet just in case no wireless network is available, a USB port for attaching USB computer storage, and if users do not have a PC they could load their presentation materials onto the projector using an USB drive. The WXU700 has a 1,280 by 800 WXGA resolution, a 500:1 counterpoint ratio, a 1.6× optical zoom, 3,800 lms of brightness level, and a 275 Watt projection lamp. The unit can accept HDMI, analog RGB, element, complex, and S-Video input, and support picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture functions. The Sanyo WXU700 will be available in June for $2,995.
